Menu Plan Monday: June Grilling

So ends a whirlwind of a weekend that looked nothing like I thought it would as far as meals planned last week- I still love planning ahead, just in case it may even resemble my dinner line-up, but sometimes once I get home, all bets are off the table and the grill gets turned on, and we do what we love best: burgers and dogs and chicken. That is it! I think it really is my favorite dinner- or lunch these days, and makes meal planning that much easier, when I just buy a ton of these staples and have them in the freezer for any night of the week.

That said…I get sick of grill food, and need to change it up.  That is where all those lovely summer salads fit in.  I created a Pinterest Board for just that reason, and there are so many great recipes to try out there that I may give my kale-salads a rest for a while (haha!)!

Here’s the line-up for this week: June 14- June 20

  • Grilled Sausages with peppers & onions, salad
  • Chicken Parm, salad, veggie tray
  • Grilled BBQ Chicken legs
  • Leftover Pulled Pork Sandwiches (not eaten last week!), salads left over from party
  • Salad with grilled chicken breasts, pasta for kids added
  • Chili (also not made last week!)
