From Dinosaur BBQ– a Syracuse, NY staple for great ribs, or pulled pork- this sauce is so tasty with a hint of hot… Oh, and so easy. It makes one meal, plus 3 pint jars for the pantry. I just ran canning jars in dishwasher and filled them while still hot, with the hot sauce – process with water bath that covers them by atleast an inch for 10 minutes. Wait for the seal, and then you can leave in your cupboard for later… If this seems like too much trouble, you can just put it in your freezer in containers and then thaw when you need it.
I have been wanting to make this for a while, and now that I know how easy it is, I will make it regularly now…maybe for gifts too. This recipe book has a TON of great marinades and salads- not all just BBQ, but is great for how we like to grill a lot and enjoy the “spicy” on occasion.
